Limerick and Portlaoise BikeSafe events a credit to all involved
On the 30th of April 2023, BikeSafe was held in Cork and Limerick and was a great success. One of the participants had this to say: “I attended this in Limerick yesterday April 30th. Absolutely well-presented and organised. A credit to all involved. Thanks for helping to keep us safe.”
On the 7th of May 2023, Portlaoise Garda station hosted a BikeSafe with eight motorcyclists. An observed ride was conducted to evaluate their motorcycle skills, with the aim of bridging the gap between what riders know and what they should know in order to ensure safer, more skilful and enjoyable motorcycling. A first class day had by all, with positive vote of confidence for our Garda BikeSafe teams.
