First Bikesafe of the year was held in Ennis Garda Station
The first Bikesafe of the year was held in Ennis Garda Station on 10th March 2024. Six out of eight participants showed up.
The participants were shown a Powerpoint presentation by Sgt Mark Murphy for about an hour, we then checked documents and handed out their “goodie bags” followed by a coffee break where we got to know each other and discussed their biking experience.
Sgt Mark Murphy, Garda Brendan Condon, Garda Edward Murphy and Garda Graham O’Connor took out the participants for a drive around the roads of Clare and had a few stops to debrief the positives and the negatives.
We returned to Ennis at 3.30pm where we completed the feedback forms and discussed what they learned and the benefits the day gave them.
Overall everybody enjoyed themselves and all participants were exhausted from the concentration they paid throughout the day.
