BikeSafe 2025 Season Kicks Off with a Roaring Start!

The 2025 BikeSafe season officially launched over the weekend of April 12th and 13th – and what a fantastic start it was! With a strong turnout of enthusiastic riders and an atmosphere full of energy and learning, the weekend marked the beginning of what promises to be an exciting year for motorcycle safety and awareness.

On Saturday the 12th of April, we welcomed eight participants to the first workshop of the season. The following day, seven more riders joined us on Sunday the 13th, eager to sharpen their skills and engage in meaningful conversations around road safety. Both days began with a classroom-based workshop, where our team covered essential topics related to safe riding practices. It was a great opportunity to reflect, discuss real-life scenarios, and understand how to be safer, smarter riders on Irish roads.

After the theory, it was time to put learning into action. Participants headed out on a supervised ride-out, guided by experienced advanced motorcyclists. The ride-outs took us through a variety of road types and scenic routes. The feedback from participants has been incredibly positive, with many noting how beneficial it was to receive direct guidance and insights from our skilled team.

It wasn’t just Dublin taking part – BikeSafe workshops also took place in Templemore and Cavan over the same weekend. Both locations reported strong engagement and glowing feedback from participants, showing the nationwide momentum behind the initiative.

This weekend’s launch highlighted what BikeSafe is all about – improving rider awareness, building confidence, and making the roads safer for everyone. We are thrilled with the turnout and enthusiasm shown by all the participants and are looking forward to welcoming many more riders over the coming months.
