BikeSafe Donegal 2026 – A Great Day on the Road

On Sunday, 19th April, the 2026 BikeSafe workshop for Donegal was successfully held in Donegal Town, bringing together riders eager to enhance their motorcycle skills and road safety awareness.

The workshop was led by two advanced Garda motorcyclists who guided four participants throughout the day, sharing valuable knowledge, riding techniques, and practical advice aimed at improving confidence and safety on the road. With perfect weather conditions , riders enjoyed ideal touring conditions across the scenic Donegal routes.

A highlight of the day came during the coffee stop, where the group met a large motorcycle club visiting from Antrim. Approximately 30 custom motorcycles gathered at the stop, creating a fantastic atmosphere and showcasing a wide variety of impressive bikes.

Positive feedback was exchanged throughout the workshop. The event once again highlighted the importance of continued rider development and community engagement within the motorcycling community.
